Lord, I trust you with this worship time today.  Thank you for bring us this far on the journey.  Give us strength to make everything work toward change in our church.  The strength is Your.  The glory is Your.  The day is Yours.  We will rejoice and be glad!!

Lord, thank you for the assurance of your presence

Lord, continue your work Sunday in our church.  Give us a vision of grace that breathes life and hope into us.

Call the distant to draw near

Lord, as we continue to seek you I ask you to call those far from you into complete closeness to You.  Lord, thank You for all you are doing in this fellowship.  I can['t wait to see what you will do as this year ends.

Lord I thank you for these two men who will lead us in worship.  God give us Your presence through the worship and message.  Open up a new vista of Your GLORY and give them an deep anointing and presence of power.

Today's Worship

Lord, I pray that you will overcome all our doubts about what your plan is in our church and in our lives.  You are Lord of it all.  Thanks for all the assurance of this weekend that you are doing incredible things here.  Lord, overcome the enemy today.  Teach us how to pray. Teach us how to love you more.  Lord, I am confident in You today!!!

Night of Prayer

Lord, I pray that you will send prayer warriors to the night of prayer tomorrow night.  Awaken our church and cause us to see you in all your fullness. Transform our hearts and rid us of any bitterness, strife or discord.  Lord, make us one and allow us to go deeper with you than we ever have before.  Lord, may we bring You and You alone glory, honor and worship.

You are the Source

Keep reminding us of our frailty and inability to do anything outside of you.  Lord, transform us into a humble people.  Remove our rebellious nature.  Cleanse us of the strongholds of the past.  Lord, we claim this Body of believers as Your Bride.

Night of Prayer

Father God, I pray that you will do amazing things Friday night as we pray.  I ask for health and endurance during the NOP. Lord, teach us how to pray.  I ask for an awakening of the body and a renewal of your Spirit in this church.  Thank you for what you are doing today. I trust you with everything I desire.  Lord, make our lives dependent upon You and You alone.  Teach us how to seek You with our whole heart.

An openness

Lord, I pray we will be open to Your Spirit as we reach out to the community.  I thank you for an opportunity to share.  Lord, instill in our fellowship Your Heart O God! Give us a hunger to see people come to know You. Help us initiate conversations about eternal things and may we refuse to enter into petty distractions.

Lord, I pray for the ministry time.  I pray that you will compel people to seek out those who have not committed their lives to You.

This Morning

I pray for focus as we seek to worship You and You alone.  You have been so good to us as a church.  You continue to show up in big and small ways. Lord, more than anything we ask You to intercede in our life circumstances.  I can't wait to see what You are going to do this morning.  Give us the time and clarity to see Your Hand. Lord, take away all distractions and pride.  Let us see and know You.

Lord, I pray for provision

Lord, You have said in Your Word, "You have not because you ask not."  So Lord, I ask you for the funds we need to do NEXT and to get us on mission in Central America.  Lord, we pray for an outpouring of Your miraculous provision.  We have faith that it will come.

Lord, I come to you and place this church on the altar.  Increase our faith, I beg of You.  Lord, show us the path.  As our couples see Courageous tomorrow night I pray that you'll speak powerfully.  Lord, protect us from any threat internal or external.  Lord, Guide our heart.

Lord, I pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to fall on this place.  Teach us to seek it.

Father,

I pray for an awakening to come to our fellowship.  Let us have a true vision of Your grace, mercy, and holiness. I ask that today will begin an earnest search for your will and that we will be open to what You reveal.

Lord, thank You for grace

Lord, I am in awe of Your grace toward us and I ask that you prepare our hearts for what you have for us to do.  I pray for unity, vision and purpose.  Lord, compel us to trust you in every way.  I long to know your purpose in our church.  Lord, send an awakening that shakes us to the core.  Keep us in the mindset of evangelism.  Turn us toward Your will.  Lord, I pray for corporate repentance and a tuning of our hearts.  May we live united.  I pray for Sunday.  God begin to transform our church into an oasis of grace in a very treacherous world.  Lord, I pray for our mission.  Lord, center us in your will.

Far from You

Lord, I lift up those that are far from you this morning.  I pray that their will be a desire to draw near and taste the fullness of grace.  I pray for husbands and wives that are filled with hurt and bitterness.  Crack open their hearts today.  I pray for those that have been struggling with themselves in obedience issues.  Lord, give them strength to be victorious.

Lord, reign today in this quiet church

Lord Jesus Son of God, I still long to see you move powerfully in abundance.  I ask for your grace to abound.  Bring the hurting, the needing and the wandering.  Bring people into communion with You.  Those who have been far away.  I pray that today and tonight will be a time to heal and grow.  Lord, I long to see your hand to see an altar filled with people surrendering their lives to you.  Help us Lord, to grasp the cords of grace that lead to the inner chambers of Your will. I trust you with the music and the worship.  I pray that you will set the table and allow people to feel the power of Your love.

Give us joy

Lord, I pray for joy in times of difficulty.  There are so many that have hard places in their lives this week.  I ask for comfort rest and peace. I am reminded that you are above all our difficulties.  Lord, I pray that You will provide for our church and give us a vision of the future.  Lord, I pray for those who are going through sickness. It has really touched our staff.

We are totally dependent upon You today so we are right where we need to be.

Lord Pour Out Your Love Today

Lord, I pray that I will be able to feel and share everything that I believe. Lord, let Your Spirit have freedom in this place today.

Lord I pray for you presence today.

Lord, we set aside all doubt and selfishness so that You can show up here in this place.  Lord, I pray for Ron, the Tylers, Brewers, and Kathy.  I pray for the time around your table.  May it be a special time of worship.  Encourage us today.

Focus us

Father God,

May you focus the message and make your grace apparent to everyone here.  Lord, use the music to Your Glory and Honor.  Lord, I ask that strongholds will come down and that you will cause us all to experience freedom.

Our worship team tomorrow

Lord, I ask you to anoint our worship team as they lead in worship.  God I pray for you to use the worship to turn the hearts of people who are far from You.  Draw us through their leadership.  Lord, let people glory in you as our vocalists and musicians lead us to your throne.

Joe

Lord, I pray for Joe Fly.  God may you comfort him tonight as he rests.  I pray for the children and grandchildren.  God glorify Yourself through the times we reflect on Nell's life. 

Lord, give us truth tomorrow

As we worship, Lord, may you truth be sure.  God, I realize that only you can turn the hearts of believers and those who don't know you at all. I am aware that You desire unity and love in the body.  Lord, let your truth reign and may You change the hearts of people tomorrow morning.

I want you, Lord, for Your church.  Lord, curve our nature to do things in the flesh which can only be accomplished in You power.

Jesus may you stir the hearts of your people tomorrow.  Keep us tender to your voice.

Lord, I lift up the grieving heart of our church as we mourn the passing of Nell.

Lord, I pray for depth

Lord, I ask that you bring a depth of understanding to our Church.  Not for the sake of knowledge but for the sake of transformation.  I plant seeds of manifested divine presence of Your Holy Spirit.  Lord, burden our church to reach out. Lord destroy the works of the devil. Let any untruth in families, lives, and organizations lose their hold.  Create a single-minded passion for you.  Lord we need you desperately to change us.

As pastor, change me and pour out your grace upon us this Sunday morning. We need you desperately. Burn this unto our minds- the constant need for your grace, transformation and power to disarm the works of the devil. 

Protect for the Staff and Families

Lord Jesus,

We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood.  We know that the enemy desires to confuse us and knock us off the task of the Great Commission, so today I pray that you will protect our leaders from any strategy or work of the enemy.  Lord, show us how to live and give us all insight into the field where You have called us to labor.  Lord, bless the children of our staff.  Grow them into hunger spiritual kids who desire you above all else.

Lord,I pray for encouragement and grace

Lord Jesus Son of God, I pray for encouragement and grace as we seek to do all that you have for us.  Lord, I long to know the power of your Spirit as we seek you.  I pray for tonight.  Lord, break through the chains of addiction, depression, broken marriages, and discouraged faiths.  Lord, in our growth groups I long to see You intercede.  Even if it is just in one life. God break through the traditions of men so that we can see deep transformation in the lives of believers. 

Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow

Lord, we give to you our church this morning.  I pray for an amazing day of worship and fellowship.  I lift up Nell and Joe Fly today as they enter into this difficult period.  Lord, glorify yourself in them.  I pray for there to be no pain for Nell.  Hold her in Your arms.

Lord, I pray for unity and growth beginning today.  We trust you to meet our needs financially so that we can length our reach for your kingdom.  This day is Yours.  We will rejoice in it today.  Jesus give me words that encourage and convict.  Lord I pray for our invitation time.  Lord, I pray for our altar our time of worship and our time to hear from You. Let my words come from you.

Send us You!

Lord, we so desperately need to see your hand in our lives.  I am thankful that You have a plan for us.  You haven't forgotten us.  We see You but we want more of You.  Lord, fill our hearts with unwavering faith.  Lord, I lift up Nell Fly to you- along with Joe.  Lord, give them a peace as they walk through this difficult time. Lord, encourage them this morning.

Lord, I pray that our worship will be pure Sunday.  Help me as I teach to speak only the words that you would have me say.  I have faith that You are the source of our treasures.  Lord, make this church a generous church and let it begin in my heart.

Turning our eyes

In so many ways Lord, I long to see you begin to work through us here at BBC.  Lord, encourage us to be outward focused.  We rely on you to fill every need we have.  We are in need of your presence and long to see you change us from the inside out. Lord, open our hearts to your word.  Lord, speak life into our marriages and homes.  Lord, change our attitudes that so often disregard You. Lord, burn in us a desire for intimacy with You. Keep us focused and encouraged that you are at work through broken instruments and unforeseen circumstances. Cause our worship to be fiery and real.

Lord, I pray that you will use worship this morning to heal a broken heart. I ask You to change lives.  Change the course of our walk so that we can experience all you have for us. Lord, sieze this moment to interupt our routines. Lord, I pray for clarity within the Body.  Let us see a true vision of what you are doing.  Change us into Your likeness. Overrun our pride and our ability to to fowl up the vision You have for us.  Lord, make me an instrument. Broken though I may be.  Break the outward shell of my heart.

May this Sunday change lives

Lord, I confess that I am powerless to change anyone.  Lord, I pray that you will take over and do amazing things this Sunday.  I pray for the Belmont students who will be here.  I pray they will sense your presence.  Lord for those who are far from You, call them to a deep abiding understanding that you are real and active in our midst. 

Lord, Reign Tonight

During our growth groups, I pray that You alone will be glorified through testimonies, conversation, Bible Studies and teachings.  Lord, help us develop this community.  Shield us from the things that would distract us. Keep us headed in the right direction as a church.  We need You.

This Morning

I give this morning back to You Lord. I pray for healing and growth for those who are experiencing trial. Lord focus my word on Your word. Lord, I pray for Ron as he leads in worship. Give him an anointing far greater than he has experienced. Lord, let music unite us and Lord, we pra for souls that are lost. Give them a clear understanding of the good news.

Lord this is the day You have made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Lord breathe into our lives as we worship. I pray for Wendy as she leads us in organizational tasks. Give her the ability to have meaningful conversations.

For Josh and Loren, I pray for insight and words.

Make us all teachable and helpful to the flock. Give us grace Lord Jesus. We so often are weak. This really is going to be a great day. Lord, help us revel in it!

Rapid Grace

Lord, give us a sense of urgency toward You.  Lord, help us redeem the time we have with the Bride.  Help us keep our focus and may you be honored by everything we do today.  Lord, I pray for the staff as they prepare for your action this Sunday.  Shield us from the strategy of the devil.  Keep us alert, Lord Jesus.  Show us how to trust. I pray for an overwhelming sense of direction.  May we be daring for Your glory and honor. Help us get out of the boat.

Turn our Hearts

Lord, turn our hearts toward Your will and purpose at BBC. I pray for insight and a bold determination to do Your will.  Lord, come through the doors of our church and as You came, may You captivate our hearts. Lord, redeem our time and money with eternal things. Lord, have Your way with us. Wreck us Lord.

Prayer for our Church and Transitions

Lord, I know people get transition weary. I pray that You will give us all a glimpse of the "there" you want us to go from "here". Lord, I trust You for provision and growth as we draw close to you.  Revive my heart.  Show me your ways! 

Lord, I pray that this sunday will be a day that we remember all the good things you are doing.
I lift up marriages that need healing, addictions that need killing, and hearts that need filling.

You Are Lord

We trust You to be who You are.  Kill our wretched confidence in ourselves and our thoughts that we can do what only You can do.  Make us desperate and dependent. Give us strength for every potion of today.

Lord, I pray that our staff will be filled with ideas and solutions which will walk in stride with You and Your desire for us as a church. I pray for favor among the believer at BBC. Lord, reveal our hearts and grant us free course to follow your and lead the flock.

Lord Jesus, Son of God,

I pray that everything we do during this time will be focus on us as individuals and as a church laying down all we have to You. Lord, purify us with the fire of Your love. Create within our hearts a desire to know You in every aspect of our lives. Lord, unify us as a body of believers. Guide us Lord. Purge our selfishness. Lord Jesus Christ,
I pray for your presence to abound in worship this Sunday.  I ask you to move in our lives.  Lord, speak. Use my words to comfort those who are in the midst of struggle and hurt. Lord, I pray for our our praises teams and the grace they show to the people who worship. Lord, unify us around the cross.  I pray for those who need You and yet are far from You. Draw them by your blessed Holy Spirit to Your side. God I pray for the lost and ask that You speak to them. Lord, take over everything that happens today.

Energize the Church, I pray.

Lord, I am reminded of the challenge of the Great Commission and I am asking for a You to call us into the fray of the battle. Lord, refresh us with a new passion to serve and fulfill the call to serve. Lord, I pray for unity and peace within the church. Lord we need you. We are desperate to see your hand at work. Lord I pray for generousity in our church

Jehovah Jireh,

We realize that you are the giver of all good things. Thank you for this church. We long to be a church of generosity and daring faith. I pray that You will give us the resources we need to overcome challenges and ministry needs. Lord, I lift up the needs we have to contribute worldwide to ministry and missions. Lord, I pray for the fields that are ready for harvest. Give us a passion for the souls of people. Lord, You have everything we need. I pray that we will be trustworthy servants.

I also ask that You provide for the unemployed in our church. Lord, I pray for You to provide the right jobs at the right time. Lord, may they be strengthened in their faith.

Lord, more than anything, we desire you to help us be overcomers. We are often overwhelmed by adverstiy as we see brother and sisters experience sickness, hardship, job loss and relationship messes, but we declare You Lord over every event that occurs in our lives.

Sunday Morning Prayers

Lord, as we brace ourselves for your presence this morning I pray that we will open ourselves up to the sheer force of Your Presence. Lord, I don't know the best way to open people up to your message. Lord help me as I speak.  Give me power and urgency regarding your desire for us.  Lord Jesus, Son of God redeem the time today. Lord, I ask You to change a life.  Lord, anoint our Bible study leaders as they speak to Your Words to the people.

Lord, I pray that you will provide for the needs of our fellowship so that we can have an impact on people around the world.

Lord, Thank you for the provision of Grace you give each of us who call upon your. Lay bare the hearts of Your people and those that don't know you as Lord. I pray for healing to take place this morning.

Lord, I ask you to continue to pour out Your passionate heart upon Josh.  Thank You for bringing him to our church.  Lord, give him success in the hearts of students. I pray that you'll use him this Sunday for your glory.

New Day

Lord, this is a new day at BBC.  I thank you for guiding us into new adventures.  I know there are lots of people all around us that are searching for answers. Help us focus on making a difference in people's lives and not focusing on the petty inner-workings of church polity. Lord, keep us desperate for your grace, love and vision.  Lord, I pray that you will bless Bob Thomack today.  Give Him the strength to continue fighting this battle in front of him.  I also pray for Robert Coker.  Lord, I pray for healing.  Lord, I do not doubt Your power to wipe out this cancer. Lord, let Your glory fly high in His life.

Today is Yours

Lord, I open today with prayers for revelation in the lives of these people I love. Help us to encourage one another and build each other up. Thank you for unity. May I never take it for granted.  Lord, evangelize the earth through the fellowship of BBC.

Sermon Sunday

Lord, I ask for your grace and mercy as I proclaim radical love.  What does that look like?  I ask for a vision of your love and grace that changes me even before Sunday arrives. I ask that You make my words pure and understandable.  I pray for a powerful spirit of Worship and Praise among us.  As we worship, I pray that you will break the bonds of addiction and bitterness. Lord, release Your Spirit of love.

Thanksgiving

Lord, I am so thankful for bringing us to a new place at our church.  Thank you for providing everything we need.  I thank You for sacrificial givers that are helping us to find our place and mission. Lord, thank you for old faces returning and new faces coming. Thank You for people firmly committed to the mission and for all the encouragement they provide.

Lord, I pray for this Sunday.  Lord, let your healing power continue to flow among us.  Make us one, Lord. Lord, I pray for our deacons that are meeting tonight.  I give them to You.  thanks for men who are passionate to see You move.  Make us one Lord.

For Sunday

Lord, I beg You for more.  Give us Your presence.  Help me to speak boldly.  Get the people there.  Lord, I pray for Loren and Josh as they minister to our kids.  Also I pray that Sunday will be a defining moment for someone who needs the courage to trust you with all that is in the way of a spiritual breakthrough they need. Move me out of the way as I teach.

Lord of Our Lives,

I praise you for the unity we experienced this weekend.  I praise Holy Spirit that You will now give us an outward focus.  Help us maintain the unity of our fellowship while we minister and prepare for what You will do this Sunday and the time in between.

I pray for wisdom for the doctors.  Help them to get a very precise prognosis of his health and give him the right strategy for his blood pressure issues.  Thanks for such an amazing man who sacrifices daily for the sake of Your work here at BBC.

Lord Jesus Son of God,

Thanks for such a great team that seeks after Your heart.  I pray for an amazing meeting today as we work on ministry plans and cast vision for the next couple of weeks.  I am grateful for Wendy, Josh, Loren, Shirley, Theresa and Ron. Bless their families.  Protect them from burnout and discouragement.  You are at work and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Lord, Make us one

I'm so thrilled that Sunday went well and I long to see You do even more.  Lord, make us one.  I pray that you'll give everyone an understanding and desire to do everything You ask us to do- starting with me.

Prepare us

Father God, prepare us for the task ahead. We cannot do everything You have called us to do.  (Not even close) without Your presence. So I'm inviting You to completely take over and led us.  Lord, help me to hear your voice and supply every need that we have.

I lift up our life groups and growth groups. Lord Jesus, author of truth, allow people to be honest about their struggles.

 Prepare us for something amazing- whatever it is. 

Prayer for Spiritual Daring

Lord, As we enter into this new series, I pray that You will fill us with courage and daring. I ask you to pour out Your Spirit upon us.   Thank you for the Secret Church experience last night.  This was an incredible day.  Thank You for David Platt.  Thanks for the way You prepare us for the days ahead through solid teaching. Thank you for assuring me that you are going to provide everything we need to accomplish the task.  Lord, I trust you.  Unite us, O Lord!!  

Thank You Father

You are amazing to us!  I praise God that You did such amazing things Sunday!  Lord, unite us and prepare us for Your Kingdom advancement.  I praise you for all the ways you have encouraged us, strengthened our resolve and brought us to a place of growth.  Lord, make us one now.  Make us a unified Body in spirit.  I pray not for cosmetic change but a deep change that goes all the way down to the root of our existence. Pour out You grace and love on us!!

Send us your Spirit today

Lord as I speak of service I pray that everything I do and say will glorify only You. Don't make it about my skill or talent or desires.  Lord, melt me so that I am easily molded into your servant.

Tomorrow

Let your Holy Spirit have free access and course tomorrow as we worship. Challenge me to speak truth and we pray for encouraging worship that changes the hearts of people.

Prayer for Sunday

Lord, please come to us this Sunday.  May we be open to your leading.  I ask you to begin a new work in our church. May your grace overflow from our hearts.  Lord, keep us free of bitterness, worldliness or anything else that might grieve the Holy Spirit.  Lord I pray that my words will be acceptable to You.

Transitional Prayer

Lord, I ask you to prepare our hearts for this Sunday. So many changes are represented in this Sunday.  Lord, I pray for unity of spirit within the worship and LifeGroups.  Lord, I pray that all of us will experience surrender. Lord, I pray against any divisive influence.  Lord, may our focus be on two:  You Lord, and those who don't know You. 

Teach Us to be an encouraging church

Lord, through Your grace, teach us how to lift each other up.  Lord, you have the power we need to see our church reach and encourage the community. For Tomorrow

As we celebrate our last two worship service Sunday, God I pray for a challenge to be communicated to unify and grow.  Lord, this is such a risk for us and yet I sense you moving in this direction.  Guide our heart to not simply think of what we want. Pierce our hearts for the lost and spiritually needy all over Hendersonville. I pray too for the other churches in our community. Lord I pray for Northeast, First Baptist, Long Hollow, Central, and FUMC. Lord, come down to us and dwell in the midst of us tomorrow!

Prayer for Sunday

Father God, we invite you to flood the church with an anointing that will change us to be like You. Lord, we are weak, imperfect people. Come make our lives extraordinary.  I thank You in advance for what you are going to do.  Lord, as I speak about our words- may the Holy Spirit convict and change me and the church. Teach us to love each otherr with our words.  Full of grace and truth.

I'm so thankful for all you've done to get us connected to You through worship.  I pray for Ron and Tina.  Lord, give them spiritual depth and insight.  I pray that they receive the favor of the body as Ron leads us in worship.  Praise You Father!  Teach us to love You more!

in our church that will pray and seek you constantly.  I pray for the 26th.  Lord, create unity and remove any distraction.  Lord, I beg You to send revival.
