May this Sunday change lives

Lord, I confess that I am powerless to change anyone.  Lord, I pray that you will take over and do amazing things this Sunday.  I pray for the Belmont students who will be here.  I pray they will sense your presence.  Lord for those who are far from You, call them to a deep abiding understanding that you are real and active in our midst. 

Lord, Reign Tonight

During our growth groups, I pray that You alone will be glorified through testimonies, conversation, Bible Studies and teachings.  Lord, help us develop this community.  Shield us from the things that would distract us. Keep us headed in the right direction as a church.  We need You.

This Morning

I give this morning back to You Lord. I pray for healing and growth for those who are experiencing trial. Lord focus my word on Your word. Lord, I pray for Ron as he leads in worship. Give him an anointing far greater than he has experienced. Lord, let music unite us and Lord, we pra for souls that are lost. Give them a clear understanding of the good news.

Lord this is the day You have made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Lord breathe into our lives as we worship. I pray for Wendy as she leads us in organizational tasks. Give her the ability to have meaningful conversations.

For Josh and Loren, I pray for insight and words.

Make us all teachable and helpful to the flock. Give us grace Lord Jesus. We so often are weak. This really is going to be a great day. Lord, help us revel in it!

Rapid Grace

Lord, give us a sense of urgency toward You.  Lord, help us redeem the time we have with the Bride.  Help us keep our focus and may you be honored by everything we do today.  Lord, I pray for the staff as they prepare for your action this Sunday.  Shield us from the strategy of the devil.  Keep us alert, Lord Jesus.  Show us how to trust. I pray for an overwhelming sense of direction.  May we be daring for Your glory and honor. Help us get out of the boat.

Turn our Hearts

Lord, turn our hearts toward Your will and purpose at BBC. I pray for insight and a bold determination to do Your will.  Lord, come through the doors of our church and as You came, may You captivate our hearts. Lord, redeem our time and money with eternal things. Lord, have Your way with us. Wreck us Lord.

Prayer for our Church and Transitions

Lord, I know people get transition weary. I pray that You will give us all a glimpse of the "there" you want us to go from "here". Lord, I trust You for provision and growth as we draw close to you.  Revive my heart.  Show me your ways! 

Lord, I pray that this sunday will be a day that we remember all the good things you are doing.
I lift up marriages that need healing, addictions that need killing, and hearts that need filling.

You Are Lord

We trust You to be who You are.  Kill our wretched confidence in ourselves and our thoughts that we can do what only You can do.  Make us desperate and dependent. Give us strength for every potion of today.
